Low Moisture Soil Extraction System

There is a difference in cleaning methods. Low moisture soil extraction cleans better and is faster drying. Only the Von Schrader LMX Carpet Extraction System applies a dirt emulsifying dry foam, brushes it thoroughtly into the carpet and removes both foam and dirt immediately before it can sink back down into the carpet or rug. This simultaneous operation is an important benefits. Only our machines have this patented feature.

Because only foam containing 10% moisture is used, your carpet or rug is ready for use in an hour or so. And there is no danger of shrinkage, dry-rot, browning or mildew.

Here's how it works:

A: Over 150,000 soft pliable nylon bristles of this cylindrical brush assure thorough, deep-down penetration. 

B: Dry foam generated in machine is deposited evenly just ahead of the brush. 

C: Brush is adjustable to reach the base of any pile depth to loosen and lift soil into suspention for instant removal.

D: Powerful, built-in vacum simultaneously extracts dirt-laden foam

Carpet Cleaning Facts You Should Know

There is only one safe way to clean carpet:
thoroughly and on-location without using damaging amounts of liquids.

♦ It's Not the Rotary Method
Here shampoo is scrubbed onto the surface of the carpet using one large or two small brushes. This does a fair job of cleaning the carpet surface, but the deep-down dirt is either untouched or carried deeper into the pile by the shampoo. And this method makes no provision for removal of the shampoo and dirt. The carpet must be vacuumed later in a seperate operation
♦ It's Not the Steam Method
In the first place, no steam is used - probably a good thing since live steam would be disastrous to your good carpet. Actually, the "steam" is only hot water that is sprayed into the carpet. And in most cases, little more than half of the dirt bearing water is extracted from the carpet. The remainder is left and can result in soggy carpet, browning mildew, shrinkage, or dammaged backing, padding and floors. Drying time can run up to 24-hours - a long time for any carpet area to be unusable
♦ It's Not the Rotary/Bonnet Method
Such procedures will brighten the surface but can't remove the dirt deep in the pile. Results: embedded dirt works up quickly to the surface to resoil the carpet.

The detergent we use for carpet cleaning is the reason for excellent results.

Other water extract detergents leave a gummy, sticky, or waxy residue as shown on Picture #1 - highly magnified photo. This residue clings to the carpet fibers and quickly attracts soil. Rapid resoiling leades to a dull, dirty carpet appearance.

Picture #2 shows, that our specially formulated detergents leave a minimal amount of crisp, brittle residue that does not attract soil to the carpet fiber. This prevents resoiling and preserves carpet beauty. The loose, non-clinging flakes are easily vacuumed away.

Remember:

Only the Von Schrader LMX Low Moisture Soil Extraction System cleans deeply with a dry foam and then gets rid of the foam along with the dirt! All other cleaning systems leave residue in the carpet after cleaning. Many are gummy, sticky or waxy, which quickly attract soil. The detergents we use, leave a minimal amount of crist, brittle residue that does not attract soil and is easily vacuumed away when dry. Specially formulated detergent is strong enough to remove deep down imbedded oily soil, but gentle enough to clean without damage. At the same time all our chemicals are biodegradable and toxic free.

If you have large carpeted areas, we can clean your carpet much faster than with any other carpet cleaning machine. We have a unique high speed extraction system (Mach-12) that applies a low moisture cleaning agent all the way through the carpet, down to the base, using it's 24" wide aggressive full bristle brush. With this machine there is no risk of carpet damage caused by overwetting.
Most of the other "high-speed" extraction systems advertise maximum cleaning rates of 4,000 - 6,000 sq.ft. per hour. The Mach-12 finishes first... And will clean and extract up to 12,000 sq ft. per hour.
